Sometimes I step back and look at my life and I think “WOW, do I actually get PAID to do this?” It’s ridiculous. My job is so much fun. Today I got to hang out with Guy Sebastian again and then I met MEATLOAF!! I grew up listening to Meatloaf’s music. My mum would freak out knowing I had met him today. I am so lucky.
Guy Sebastian came into the studio. We first met him soon after he won Australian Idol back in 2003 – when he had a big afro. He is SUCH a nice guy. Really genuine and sweet and so talented. He sang live for us and I literally jumped back when he hit those big notes. He can belt out a tune! After our show we went to the Langhalm hotel to meet MEATLOAF. He’s 62 years old and looking really good for his age. He is very funny, and charming and interesting and one of the most passionate musicians I have met in a long time. I honestly thought he was about to cry while he was telling us about his new album. He was so into it. Dom and Mike went to an album listening session last night and they said Meatloaf sat by the door and had his eyes closed while he rocked to the music. He’s so awesome.
We chatted for about 40 minutes so Chang has a big job ahead of him editing down the best bits for a 5 min playback on air. I think we’ll be putting the unedited video online later this week if you want to check it out.

Yesterday I was invited to Isis day Spa for a free pedicure by Palmolive. They wanted to show me how amazing their new Palmolive Naturals Nutra-fruit shower creams are. I was lying there, with my feet up, being pampered, thinking “this I the life!”. I really have had a good week. (By the way, the shower cream IS good! Smells divine – two fragrances: Mandarin & Pomegranate, and it’s really silky and creamy)

The good luck has to run out for me soon doesn’t it?
Now I’m nervous!
