Time for the biggest Beauty Breakdown yet - OSCAR'S EDITION!
My favourite trends of the night were a classic updo paired with a nude lip, and goddess-locks worn with a bright-colour-burst lippie. Not to mention the beyond-beautiful lashes that every celeb showcased on their lids.. Big was definitely better! Here are my top five;

Jennifer Lopez
"Jenny from the block" is way gone, and a classic JLo has been showing up to event after event looking absolutely radiant. Her secret? NARS Cosmetics has been accompanying her hand-in-hand with lots of 'Orgasm Illuminator' giving her that gorgeous glow. Add in a la natural lipstick with a sheer pink gloss, and loads of lash-loving black mascara. Simply stunning!

Demi Moore
Demi dazzled everyone with her dramatic, yet soft makeup and easy-swept-away updo. Her soft smoky eye lined with kohl works perfectly, creating just the right amount of attention around Demi's eyes. When the skin around your eyes starts aging avoid mascara on the lower lashline, as this just adds years to your look. Instead line the eye and soften the look by smudging the line. Truth is, Demi knows all the tricks..it's not her own personal fountain of youth in the backyard keeping her looking oh-so-fresh. Finally follow Demi's look by curling lashes and coat in mascara.

Miley turned up at the Oscars, and no one could agree why, or what exactly she was there for. What everyone could agree on is how drop-dead-gorgeous she looked. Miley's look is flawless - a perfectly put together updo, a dewy complexion with just-there-rose cheeks, and my favourite piece; the bronzed eye with lots-of-length lashes.

I adore how Cameron always keeps her Red Carpet looks fresh. Here she takes a modern and edgy twist to the 'Old Hollywood Glamazon' by rocking red, red, red. Cameron wears a perfect true red lip shade, with the same lip colour used on the apples of her cheeks, but not stopping there her nails are painted red too. Voila, picture perfect and Red Carpet ready - all with the power of..red!

The tweets fired up when Sandra arrived on the carpet. She was favoured to win tonight, and everyone was cheering her on. Sandra celebrated her big night in beauty bliss with dewy skin, soft eyes, and a bold classic red lip with just a hint of fuchsia for fun. All this beautifully paired with sleek straight hair styled slightly off centre with a slight wave on the tip - and not to mention GORGEOUS look-at-me lashes!

THE BIG COUNTDOWN
This is the week of the highly anticipated iD Fashion Week - and with each day my excitement builds! The iD Dunedin Fashion Week will be taking place from 8 - 14 March 2010 with the iD Fashion Show being unveiled on two nights, Friday 12 and Saturday 13 March (tiks are still available if you want to attend, but get in there quick at Ticket Direct).

Highlights I am looking forward to include The iD Dunedin Emerging Designer Awards Show hosted by Samantha Hayes to see the 30 finalists showcasing their work and The iD Dunedin Fashion Show with Twenty-one walking the runway.

The Rodney Wayne Team on George Street will be doing my hair for events I am attending, and while visiting the salon I'll share the inside goss with you on the hottest hairstyles headed our way this upcoming season, and a beauty breakdown of a hair consultation at Rodney Wayne.
